Course Description.

The course presents strong emphasis on the Classical Hatha Yoga series practicing Levels 3 and 4 of Asana, , Advanced Pranayama & Meditations.
Trainees are expected to maintain a daily Yoga practice during the training.

The course includes the following areas of study.

Asana practice Level 3 to 4
Yogic breath practicing advanced variations in each technique
Ayurveda for Yoga
Philosophy of Hatha Yoga Pradipika
Teaching methodology
Meditations
Ethics and business of Yoga.
Bhakti Yoga, kirtan chant

Course Objectives

Trainees will learn Yogic breathing Advance techniques.
Trainees will learn Bhakti Yoga, chanting kirtans and how to lead a session
Trainees will be able to use Yoga accessories like bricks, bolsters, belt and chair and how to teach injury free Yoga
Trainees will be able to practice and lead Classical Hatha Yoga series Level 3 to 4

Trainees will learn Philosophy of Hatha Yoga , study Hatha Yoga Pradipika
Trainees will learn Active and passive meditation techniques and how to lead Sessions

Trainees will understand articulation of body parts based on asana’s
Trainees will understand the principles of Ayurveda and How it affects us, How to maintain the balance, how to lead a class according to it.
Trainees will learn skills in business, Marketing and ethics of Yoga

Structural Breakdown TTC Program

1st week :

Led class focuses on Intermediate Hatha Yoga Level 3 Asanas, Surya namaskar ( with mantras ) , Standing poses, Sitting poses, Supine poses , Prone poses and Finishing sequence. Pranayama

2nd week :

Teaching Methodology class focuses on Hatha Level 3 Asanas, Standing poses, Sitting poses, Supine poses , Prone poses and Finishing sequence . Surya namaskar ( with mantras ) Advanced Pranayama practice. Trainees practice How to lead level 3 class. Anatomy

3rd Week :

Teaching Methodology class focused on Chandra Namaskar sequence Intermediate Level 3 Asanas Standing, Sitting, Supine, Prone and finishing sequences. Meditation practice

4th week :

Teaching Methodology class focused on Intermediate Level 3 Asanas, Standing, Sitting, Supine, Prone and finishing sequences. Meditations and pranayama Teaching Methodology: Trainees practice How to lead level 3 class. Practical exam evaluated student leading 60 min class Asanas level 3, pranayama 15 min, meditation 30 min.

Total 50 Asanas Intermediate Level 3 will be covered.

5th week :

Led class focuses on Hatha Yoga Level 4 Advanced Asanas, Advanced Chandra Namaskar , Standing poses, Sitting poses, Supine poses , Prone poses and Finishing sequence. Pranayama

6th week :

Teaching Methodology class focuses on Advanced Level 4 Asanas, Advanced Chandra Namaskar sequence Standing poses, Sitting poses, Supine poses , Prone poses and Finishing sequence . Advanced Pranayama practice. Trainees practice How to lead level 3 class. Anatomy

7th Week :

Teaching Methodology class focused on Advanced Level 4 Asanas Standing, Sitting, Supine, Prone and finishing sequences. Meditations practice

8th week :

Teaching Methodology class focused on Advanced Level 4 Asanas, Standing, Sitting, Supine, Prone and finishing sequences. Meditations and pranayama Teaching Methodology: Trainees practice How to lead level 3 class. Practical exam evaluated student leading 60 min class Advanced Asanas level 4 pranayama 30 min, meditation 30 min.

Total 50 Asanas Advanced Level 4 will be covered.

The course will provide a full manual in pdf which covers all the modules of the syllabus.
Access to Google Drive with pdfs, videos classes, meditations for homework assigned.
Asana charts pdf with Names and images of each Asana, for self practice
Exclusive website for students, with theory classes

Prerequisites

1.The practitioners are expected to have completed Hatha Yoga 200Hs TTC and a min of one year of Any style of yoga practice before they can be accepted onto 300 Hs TTC. The style of yoga can be: Sivananda, Hatha,
2.Prior notice is must in case of Practitioners having major injuries, chronic health issues or psychological issues, or if they are under any medication.

Evaluation Procedure and grading criteria

Trainees will be assessed on asana performance, teaching led class and oral adjustments
Trainee should be able to teach pranayama class including the names of each technique and contraindications of each technique.
If a Trainee get injured during TTC and is not able to continue the course Certification will not be given and the school will not offer partial or full refunds.

Attendance

The trainee should attend online 90% of all the classes during the course.

Accreditation

Trainees who are Registered in Yoga Alliance as 200Hs Hatha Yoga Teachers, once completed this program are eligible to update 300Hs TTC Certification, which will give them total 500Hs TTC Accreditation.
